In 21 days the house was completed
Original materials were used whenever
possible. The shingles are an exact duplicate
of what was originally used. The Porch was
replaced exept for the railings and posts. One
window and two doors are original, the others
had to be replaced. Bottles were replaced in
the gables, broken bottles were replaced,
all with authentic
period bottles. The metal
bands around the house will help the walls
keep their integrity for another 100 years.
